Photo to Movie – Turn Images to Slideshow Videos
Sometimes you have to do a bit of reading to understand what an application can do. Other times is functionality is spelled out in its title; you can take a look at an application’s title and you immediately realize what it can do for you. This is definitely the case with Photo to Movie, a Windows application offered by LQ Graphics.
With Photo to Movie, like the name so adequately points out, you can take some pictures and turn them into a movie – slideshow movies to be more precise. You can create a movie by zooming and panning over a photo and by using various transition effects to move from one image to another.
Speaking of transition effects, Photo to Movie has plenty transition effects to offer, like dissolves, wipes, or cubes for example.
Images are nice, images accompanied by sound are better. If you have a track that you think would accompany your slideshow video nicely, you can easily add it to your video. Alternatively you can record voiceovers from family members.
A few examples of what you can do with Photo to Movie are available here.
Before you go get Photo to Movie and put it to the test, take a look ah the technical details presented below:
Download – the Windows version weighs in at 18.3MB. On a high-speed internet connection, it should not take long for the download to complete.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Photo to Movie provides support for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. There’s a Mac version that provides support for Mac OS X 10.5 or newer.
Limitations – the trial version of Photo to Movie puts a watermark on the output. To get rid of this annoyance you have to purchase a license.
